Description:

With the help of some family members, he assisted several escaped prisoners from the Gassino labour camp, providing them with food, shelter, and woollen clothing. Speaking about his “guests”, he emphasised that they always behaved in a proper and respectful manner, forming a bond of friendship with the family.
